-Eating


• Eat within an hour of waking up
• Eat every 3/3 ½ hours
• Listen to your body-if you are genuinely hungry before 3 hours comes, eat the next meal
• Every meal should be a balance of a carbohydrates, proteins and fats to put your body in a stable state and speed up your metabolism
• On a scale from 1 to 10, 10 being the hungriest, you should eat somewhere between 4 and 7. It is not good for your body to be starving
• You should never eat until you’re too full
• Chew your food…digestion begins in the mouth
• Buy your children healthy snacks so you won’t be tempted by unhealthy options
• Try not to snack while cooking-put gum in your mouth or something to keep yourself from eating too much

-Hydration

• For water-drink at least half of your bodyweight in ounces each day
• Make sure you hydrate with water during your workout
• Try sticking to water only unless you drink milk with your meal plan
• Some water is in fruits, green veggies and soups
• Hydration is important in cleansing your body and for weight loss
• Coffee is ok in the mornings, but drink an extra glass of water for each cup of coffee…coffee is a diuretic
• Only add milk to your coffee…no creamer
• Juice contains too much sugar…try to stay away
• Soft drinks are BAD for you…stay away from completely whether diet or regular!

-Sleep

• Sleep is vital for weight loss
• Get at least 7 to 8 hours of sleep each night
